Yet Another Persian Philosopher’s Stone Translation!
It boggles the mind how willing Persians are to translate Harry Potter. Over and over and over again! This newly identified translation (credit to @azeribay2019) came out just a year or so ago, and it is the 24th translation of Philosopher’s Stone that I have found. TWENTY-FOURTH. For some perspective, I have, as of this writing, catalogued a total of 144 translations world-wide, authorized and unauthorized, in 92 languages. 17% of them are Persian.
The next most prolific is tie between Burmese and Bengali with five PS translations each (3.5%). Persian, Burmese and Bengali represent nearly one quarter of all known PS translations. !! ?! !!

BTW, the cover is by George Caltsoudas, the artist who did the most recent German covers. It is another PS illustration that he posted to his website. I’m quite certain they did not ask permission to use it.
